I was born and raised in Boulder, CO. I grew up engrossed in various community theaters in the area, launched by the thrill of playing Daddy Warbucks in my 5th grade production of Annie (yes I did shave my head for the role).
After receiving a grant from the city of Boulder, I co-founded Turkey in the Straw Productions with a small group of friends. Whatever time I had left during my childhood years were consumed by training in Tang Soo Do karate, playing ice hockey, and skiing the great slopes of the Rocky Mountains. I went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, in association with Atlantic Theater Company's Acting School. I co-founded my second theater company, The Bower Group, with my classmates, producing original work and serving as resident light designer. I am certified in Unarmed Stage Combat by the Society of American Fight Directors and have experience in rapier and dagger and broadsword combat. I have served as fight choreographer and fight captain for various projects. I am a proud current Company Member of Pipeline Theatre Company. I am a former member of The Bats, the resident acting company at The Flea Theater in TriBeCa. I am also a former member of the Non-Equity Company at Williamstown Theatre Festival. I am currently a member of the original cast of the West Coast premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. We are awaiting the end of our suspension and a return to Hogwarts as soon as it is safe enough to do so!!! |
